Explore this display →Retail dump bins hold loose or individually packaged products in an open, shoppable bin, usually near checkout or at the end of an aisle. Plan around product protection, reach as stock runs down, and how the bin is refilled.
A dump bin is an open bin, usually corrugated cardboard, that holds loose or individually packed products for shoppers to pick through. It needs no shelf, stands on the floor, and suits impulse items, seasonal products and bulk promotions.
The name comes from the way product is dumped in rather than faced on a shelf.
A single open bin works for one product. A divided bin adds inner walls, so two or more flavors, sizes or colors stay separate and easy to find.
As stock runs down, the last units sit at the bottom. A raised false bottom or a shallower bin keeps product within reach, and a stronger base or reinforced corners stop the bin bulging under heavy loads.
Plan how staff will refill it, or whether it ships full and is replaced when empty.
